The Company |

Bulgaria Properties Ltd was established formally in November 2004, although the Bulgarian operations of its management team date back to March 2003. Since that time, after conducting a great deal of necessary research and setting up an efficient business infrastructure in Bulgaria, land has been purchased for development in and around the towns of Bansko and Borovets. |
We always employ qualified, experienced, local architects, to ensure that our buildings reflect an authentic traditional appearance outwardly, while offering all the advantages of modern living in their interiors. We also engage only large construction companies with a reputation to preserve, to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and to a high standard. |
Our Principles |

We adhere to certain principles, when dealing with our Bulgarian colleagues and our customers. We pay our people well, and they do a good job for us. We offer our customers a fair price, usually below the market price, to enable us to sell quickly and reinvest in more developments. We do not squeeze the last cent out of buyers by charging a
different rate for the various floors of the buildings. Construction
costs
are, after
all, the same for all floors, more or less. Buyers therefore have their
pick of the available apartments, and pay the same price, whatever their
position. First come, first served. |
There is work and several costs involved when buying a property in Bulgaria: legal, notary fees, taxes, etc. We keep things simple for you by doing the work and paying your buying costs. The price you see is therefore the price you pay. Annual maintenance charges on our properties are kept at a level to
ensure that the local people make a good living by local standards,
and the
common
areas
of
the buildings, grounds and amenities are kept in a condition expected
by western Europeans. Inspections are conducted frequently. Occupants'
reports are welcomed and
encouraged,
and are always investigated. |

Steve Avery - Managing Director (UK) Career History:- Many years in international marketing, sales, computer system consultancy and software development, technical and management roles. - Formerly Director and Head of Operations of propertyinbulgaria.net plc. - Several years in tourism industry; founder and former owner of Eurotour. - Managing Director of Abacus Data Systems International Ltd (software house) and Avery Productions Ltd (management consultancy), formerly Head of Global Sales at Telephony Ltd. - Revolutionised estate agency industry in 1984 with the first computerised property shop, Computahome. Qualifications: MSc Information Technology, BA(Hons) Arabic & Persian, Diplomatic Service Distinction in Arabic, Foreign & Commonwealth Office Scholar, National Computing Centre Certificate in Systems Analysis. Hobbies and interests: Work, latest technology, music, sports car driving, games and sports, general knowledge, languages (English, French, German, Arabic, Bulgarian, Russian, Esperanto). |
