Malyovitsa resort is situated on a small territory, which includes
part of Rila National Park - one of the biggest preserved territories
in Europe.
The picturesque and, at the same time, steep paths, which lead
to the top, are a real challenge even for the most experienced
alpinists. Malyovitsa and the other awesome peaks that rise nearby
make the area the hardest scramble route in the country. There
are the highest alpine escarpments as well.
The resort huddles in the valley of Malyovitsa River. In order
to climb to the famous chalet, which brings the same name, one
can follow the beaten track, which leads the devoted tourists
to the king of the area - the peak itself. Once reaching the
top, you will be given the exclusive opportunity to enjoy the
endless breathtaking views.

There are two well-maintained ski runs, which are preferred by numerous
Bulgarian and foreign winter sport maniacs.
One of the most beautiful lakes on the Balkan peninsular - Strashnoto
(the Scary) - is also peacefully waiting for the mountaineers. Information courtesy of Margarita Stoyancheva
